We had a cozy and delicious dinner at Gut Kaltenbrunn am Tegernsee. The table reservation worked perfectly. We had a table in the heated outdoor area (the heating worked well, it was warm enough to sit comfortably). Very friendly and attentive service. Food was really delicious. And of course the view of the lake is great. We would love to come back!

I love this place !!!! You can't help but adore it, the lake view is spectacular at any time of the day, and at night it is breathtaking, then what about the food is always good but the best thing is the service, kind and helpful, it's one of my favorite restaurants, I recommend everyone to go and eat there at least once, because it only takes once to fall in love with it and come back every week !!

We ordered a duck to take away here during Corona times. The collection was wonderfully uncomplicated via the output window. In the waiting time we could enjoy a cold beer with a view of the lake. The food was excellent and absolutely recommendable!

Wonderful view of the Tegernsee and the mountains. But today the coffee in the Käfer beer garden was just bad. Käfer can do that better or at least it should, according to its claim, in the beer garden too. Ambience and concept 5 *, but coffee only 1 *

Restaurant and location optically very nice. Terrace with a view of the Tegernsee. Provided you don't have your back to the lake. Outside some very uncomfortable wooden benches without backrests. An agony when you sit there and eat. Food is ok, but here you pay more for the name instead of the food. Waitress only reacted to the 3rd request to ask the cook about some ingredients (allergy). Information about the courts was very much in need. Toilet very dark and not well maintained. You can't even hang a bag or jacket in the toilet.

Beer garden: long queue, which wouldn't be bad if you could get what is on the menu. But if the dish is not available at the moment (because it is still cooking), you will be asked to queue again later for a long time. That is a "no go"! A little tip: write down the name and then call it out when the meal is ready (works in every Starbucks, so shouldn't be difficult). All in all very nice atmosphere and what we ate was very good.

A very nice restaurant with a lake view, As you know from Käfer, prices are not cheap, but neither are they excessive. The drinks are cheap. We had starter and main course, had also tasted great. Portions a little too small. But everything went very quickly and great service.

Very good food, unfortunately the service is rather mediocre for the high prices. Bent cutlery should be sorted out and not presented to guests. In the price range, service staff who turn up their noses are out of place, especially if you often forget parts of the order throughout the day. Thanks to the kitchen, which does a very good job.

Today (August 26th) we were there to eat and I had an approximately 1cm large piece of glass in the Wiener Schnitzel, which thank God I noticed while chewing. Waitress takes note and that's it. First of all, it is life-threatening and then not even offering compensation on which we are truly not dependent is unbelievable! I can only warn everyone, it was the last time we were there. If we were in the USA we would now be millionaires, the owner can be happy that it is seen so easily in Germany!

Recently there were five of us in the great beer garden (service area). Whether fish or veal goulash, everything tasted excellent. The portions are not too big, but better quality than bulk. The ambience and service are also excellent, the location cannot be beat!

Romantic ambience on the picnic area in a beach chair and on the blanket. We had a picnic basket put together with Bavarian specialties and enjoyed the sunset over Lake Tegernsee. The food and drinks were sufficient and delicious. We were only in the self-service area, not in the restaurant!

In the evening we had a great table in the shade in the restaurant. The service was extraordinarily good, very friendly and courteous and fast for the number of guests. The food was great! The price is justified, the quality of the products and the preparation were great. Outlook!!! brilliant

This restaurant has the beer garden with an unforgettable and formative view of the Tegernsee. Even during the corona situation everything is well regulated with the necessary distance. Cold drinks and food at an acceptable price. One more drink is also possible: p Very good starting point for a stopover on a motorcycle tour. Here you have everything in view!

On behalf of my fiancee and myself, we would like to thank everyone in Gut Kaltenbrunn from the bottom of our hearts. We really enjoyed our engagement dinner. Everything was fine. Amazing food, great service and love the venue that overlooking the lake and green mountain. Will visit again on my next visit to Tegernsee.

It's not exactly cheap, but a good value. Excellent food quality, and very friendly and helpfull staff. And the view from the garden is of course great.

Having been here multiple times to enjoy the stunning view while eating a typical Bavarian Breakfast, we finally found ourselves enjoying a delicious dinner. The staff is very welcoming and attentive. The service is outstanding and surpasses the expectations one has. The waiter that served us (Ricardo) was super friendly and made our evening even better. He even prepared the roasted duck in front of us to allow us to enjoy the food even more. We had a great experience and will definitely come back.
